Having been referred to the A and E department with an inflamed arm and elbow on the afternoon on Sunday 31st May I was seen promptly with the necessary diagnostic tests, including a Ct scan, done without delay. After a period of treatment and monitoring within the A and E department I was allowed to return home with follow-up reviews being carried out in the following week. My overall impression was that of a well organised department staffed by highly competent and caring medical and administrative staff all of whom dealt with me in a polite and informative manner. Please pass on my appreciation to the staff members on duty during my brief stay in their care.
