my mother had a major stroke , on ward 8 of Solihull she is left to feed herself food dripping out her mouth , no stimulation from staff or books , mother wett herself when calling for a nurse , who ignored her , the patients with demntia are ignored by staff and one charge nurse there was very rude to myself on the bay and not professiona ln anyway , when I asked to speak to a matron , and the matron attended ward 8 all the staff jumped soon moved and put the aprons on and done there jobs , this ward need to have more respect for stroke and dementia patients and to help them and not leave them as tho they are stupid people this is how there being treated on that ward , it needs more liason with patients , more looking after, and help , more stimulation for strok patientce , if it was ther mother they would want the same I am very unhappy and disappointed that they are not doing there job satisfactory and there attitude needs to change when caring for the elderly
"no care for the stroke or dementia from staff on..."
