I had an unexpected 7 nights stay in JP H during May / June. Started off in A and E, then to AEU then ward 17 and finally ward 4. I had many many tests including MRI. Brain scan, ultra sound, lumbar puncture etc etc. My main treatment was in the eye dept. Throughout all the places, tests , people etc that I encountered I can only give the highest of praise for car, attention and professionalism . Despite being severely understaffed the staff remained totally committed to my care and that of other patients. Changing wards as much as I did is not ideal but each time it happened I was kept fully informed of the reasons for this . I wish to state a particular raising up of the A and E department. Yes I had a long wait to be seen but given how few staff they had on duty it's not surprising. One particular nurse was/ is an angel in disguise. Yes I totally up hold JPH. It's not prefect....but where is ?
"Satisfied patient"
