"Thank you to you all"

About: National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Queen Square

I was diagnosed with an operable brain tumour at a different hospital with severe symptoms believed to be related to it, but my neurosurgeon at the time was not interested in operating despite the major effect it was having on my life. A support group I attended recommended this hospital for an alternative consultant, and I'm very glad to say that I took their advice. My neurosurgeon was a caring and attentive person who did their utmost to help me, not only by them self, but with the help of other relevant specialists to whom they referred me. I was frightened of surgery as I would imagine most, if not all, patients would be, but their calm manner, knowledge and skill made me as comfortable as I could ever have been in their care, and I'm pleased to say, nine months on, that it is thanks to him that my life has started to turn around for the better. Thank you. From H.
