I was admitted to have a total right hip replacement on the 1st November 2014. Having met my consultant at the initial assessment was very impressed with their manner and professionalism, although extremely anxious about the operation felt totally reassured by them from the start. The consultant visited me after the procedure as did their anaesthetist more than once, there was a very caring older member of staff there who very kindly took me over to the wash area and gave me a lovely wash which was so very appreciated. Another member came with a freshly made small ham sandwich which they had prepared for me very lovely touch indeed. There was a member of staff that I felt needed some lessons in how to react to patients who are feeling not at their best, however, apart from this one person (who I felt was a bank nurse possibly) the rest were exemplary. Thank you all so much!
