I was at St. Thomas' again on 5 & 6 June 2015 for an angiogram, which left me somewhat more uncomfortable than I was expecting. But what I want to comment on here is the simply superb care again given to me by the staff of Becket Ward, in particular during the wee small hours of 6 June, when I was feeling somewhat miserable. The attention I received was thoroughly professional - especially in terms of managing my expectations as to when I would be up & about again - but more importantly, genuinely really caring. It seemed to me to be to be an old fashioned approach - but in (I hope) the nicest possible sense. A short stay, but one made all the more bearable by the superb staff on Becket Ward.
