"Very rude reception, they have no idea what pain..."

About: King George Hospital

I had a wrist injury when I approached the hospital and I still have pain even after so many months just because the reception decided I do not deserve to see a doctor as there was no swelling. I am writing this after almost 6 months of my visit to the hospital as I am going through so much of trauma. I don't know what to do.

Our A&E departments are always in high demand and we’re asking local people to remember that there are alternatives to A&E for non-emergency cases . I am sorry our receptionist did not fully explain this when you visited our Emergency Department. I would recommend that you visit your General Practitioner who will be able to assess your wrist and advise you appropriately. Yours sincerely Wendy Matthews Interim Chief Nurse
