After 193 days of pain since being diagnosed by the excellent A & E department at Southmead hospital in November 2014 and subsequently an MRI scan which confirmed the initial diagnosis the long NHS system wait began. My doctor agreed in early January 2015 for to me to have the surgery to repair my two torn carriages in my knee, then the delay began due the poor assessment skill knowledge given by Sirona Health Care who dont seem to be driven by patient needs and care. Only pressure on my apart did I get an appointment with Emersons Green NHS Treatment centre who from my visit to see a surgeon could clearly see the need to perform the surgery my Doctor advised/agreed in mid-January. Today 4th of June 2015 my surgery was carried in superb and professional way from start to finish, the premises, facilities are wonderful, everyone works as a team involving you every step of the way. Don't hesitate on choosing this 1st class facility for your procedure, even the pre-med was undertaken and carried out thorougly brilliant and a choice of dates offered at the 1st visit. Well done and a big thanks to all concerned at Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre . The information given in paper form prior to and at discharge is excellent also.
