"My elderly father was admitted ..."

About: Hillingdon Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

My elderly father was admitted to the Stroke Unit at Hillingdon Hospital, and I have nothing but praise for the way they looked after him. He was comfy and clean and very well cared for, and involved in the decisions about his management. I was working overseas at the time he was taken ill, and the excellent and clear communication from the nursing staff, particularly the Sister, who made it very much less stressful for me, not only to know that he was getting best care, but also to be informed of what was happening. They all dealt with my occasionally stubborn old dad with warmth and kindness.

What could be improved

Couldn't have improved a thing.

Anything else?

I wish all the people who criticise the NHS could be aware of the quality of care that is provided.
