I would like to pay tribute to Dr Karen Douglas and her whole team from Secretaries, nurses, nurse practitioners, registrars, receptionists and consultants. This team provide the best possible care in such a way that you feel part of a family rather than a patient. I have been under the care of Dr Douglas after years of misdiagnosis, inappropriate care and a lack of understanding. Dr Douglas has given me hope when there was none, care and understanding, appropriate treatment and most importantly, her time. When I need help, she is always there and genuinely cares.

When you have an appointment in this department you know that you are going to receive the very best of care.

I would therefore publically wish to thank Dr Douglas and her team for making such a difference to my quality of life.

I am very pleased that my story was well received by Dr Douglas and her team. I will always have the upmost respect for this department and for Dr Douglas in particular.

Once again I would like to say thank you for all of your efforts to make life as comfortable as possible.
