"Still waiting"

Seen by consultant in August last year re surgery. Was referred for tests which the last of which I had at the begining this year and I am still waiting to see the consultant to decide if I am having surgery or not. Countless times I have tried to contact the secretary and they are either not available or is waiting to speak to the consultant. Just spoke to the secretary again today and again they can not speak to the consultant until next week! I am an NHS patient and can't help but feel that this is why I am still waiting. I am struggling to get through my life and no-one seems to care!
