"Children's Ward"

We took our 1 week old baby in because we suspected there could be something wrong with him and without exception the staff, doctors and nurses were fantastic. When we arrived at A&E we were seen straight away and had a nurse and then a doctor examine my son within 2 minutes of arrival. We were then sent upstairs for X-rays and blood tests which were carried out extremely quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately our son had to stay in hospital for 1 week to receive treatment and during that time we were looked after around the clock by very helpful and professional staff who really cared about both myself and my wife and son. We can't thank the hospital, and in particular the children's ward enough for the care we received. It's times like these you realise how lucky we are to have such a fantastic health service. We'll be dropping some games off for the children's ward shortly as a small gesture of our thanks.
