Anything else?

I had an abscess in my stomach which became very painful. It was Sunday so visited A&E. Reached there at 12:00 pm ,seen by doc at 4. He advised, this would need seen by a surgical one, who came to see at about 6. He said that abscess would need to be operated earlier the better and advised admission. The hospital is short of beds so we had to wait another couple of hours. At 9:30 pm we got the bed. Phlebotomist bruised my arm while obtaining the sample and gave rubbish reason is that my artery is branched. I was told not to eat or drink anything after 2:00 am as the procedure needed GA. The next morning nobody visited my till 10:00 am. When I asked the nurse she wrongly said that my case is being discussed by the doctors. She took the course of bleeping the doctors who didn't respond. The nursing staff kept on bleeping. Why one of them couldn't just walk to the surgical section. At about 1 I got very impatient and complained to PAL who sent couple of people to reassure but at the same time didn't give us any time as to when the doctor would be able to visit me. The worst part happened at At 1:30 a nurse came to me with food saying saying they have no information or records about me so it is better I just eat something. I told her that I can't eat since this can delay my procedure even further. At about 2:00 the doctor came in and said that there dept was only informed 30 minutes ago. The whole thing about my case being dicussed in the monring, where did that go? I was told that my case wasn't handed over properly between shift handovers at night and it went to wrong team bla. I became agitated and the doctor told me that he should be spoken to nicely. Well so much for empathy. He said that they would operate when there are is no other emergency to take care of and he can't give me a time frame, It can be today or tomorrow or the next but I'll have to continue fasting . At 6 I couldn't take it and asked for discharge which was handwritten reluctantly and went pvt
