"Angiogram"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

1st rate attitude, skills and team work from the cardiologist and all the staff involved with my angiogram. The doctor took great care to explain the procedure, and answered all my questions clearly and honestly. Once the doctor had reviewed my angiogram they explained exactly the severity of my condition and the urgency of the triple coronary artery bypass that was needed. The doctor explained how they had regular meetings with the heart surgeons at Leeds to discuss patient needs and prioritise urgent cases and that they had already spoken to a surgeon with a fantastic reputation who could deal with my operation. I was given the option of remaining in hospital until the operation, or going home with the strict understanding, no stress, no work, no over exertion etc. Well here I am just under a year later, I had the operation, went back to work a few weeks after the operation, now recovered fully, and able to hill walk, cycle etc etc. I can enjoy life again. Thank you Fantastic service from the overworked heath service teams at Bradford and Leeds.

Dear Dave, first of all I am very sorry that you did not get a response from us at the time. There has been a technical problem which meant your review did not appear in our feed. We do really value feedback from our patients and their families, and all I can do is apologise for the delay. However, I am so pleased to hear that you had such a good experience with the Cardiology team, and that you have had such a good result from your surgery.
