After two months waiting time I finally got an appointment at the dermatology department to get my skin checked. When I saw the doctor, they almost fainted in front of me and mentioned that they felt dizzy. I offered them to get another doctor which they declined. The skin check itself lasted for two minutes with just briefly looking at my upper body, the rest of the body was simply left out. Their diagnosis: I will take one or two moles out. The doctor seemed not even certain which moles to remove. During our 5 minute conversation I was told several times that I should fully cover my body when I am outside. I appreciate their concern however it would be sufficient to express their advice once. After a 10 minute wait at reception to make an appointment for the biopsy I was passed around from one nurse to another because they were not capable of making such an appointment. This would be perfectly fine if you would do it discretely and not say out loudly: Can I take the other patient instead, please? Luckily the other nurse was able to help but was lacking of professionalism, too. They handed me an appointment booklet and asked me to fill in my next appointment as they were too tired to do so. Overall, my today's doctor appointment confirmed the generally negative opinion about the NHS.
