"Excellent maternity care"

I've just had my final visit to RSCH following the birth of my first son in October, and I wanted to write to say a huge thank you to all the staff who made my experience - the community midwives, the sonographers, the hospital midwives, the consultants and registrars, the Physiotherapists, all so positive. Without exception everyone I came into contact with was warm, friendly and reassuring and made me feel valued and well looked after. I also found it very reassuring that I was provided with so much information at every stage about my progress and next steps, it helped me feel in control and relaxed - as much as you can in pregnancy/childbirth! I know from working in the public sector the financial and resourcing pressures that your services operate under, but it never felt like that in any way to me the customer. Thank you so much for all that you do!
