Repeatedly stayed in the Richard Ticehurst Ward (Surgical Assessment Unit) over the last year or so due to gallstones pain complicated a little by a recent heart transplant. The staff make the unit. They are superb, kind and caring. The unit can get busy but they are stoic. Being compassionate makes an unquantifiable but huge difference. Thank you all for your care. With best wishes Alastair
