"I was admitted by ambulance after ..."

About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted by ambulance after collapsing whilst on a weekend away. The treatment I received saved my life, thanks to the expertise of the many consultants, doctors and staff that were available through the night.I was admitted to ICU where the one on one nursing care, along with the excellent treatment by all could not be improved on.During my 12 day stay I was placed on 3 other wards, each as good as each other.

What could be improved

Nothing

Anything else?

My wife, who stayed in London during my stay, found Shepherd Hall an excellent place to eat, the piano concerts was a good distraction.

If I did have to suggest improvements, it would be to the lifts in East Wing. For a large part of my stay my wife said only one was working.
