I saw my GP with my daughter yesterday for a non-urgent condition. Blood tests are needed and we were told to ring the ward at Kings to arrange. We rang this morning and the first appointment is 2 weeks away and longer, three weeks in fact if we don't take her out of school, which seems a shame having waited some time for a non-urgent condition. We are both medical so can make a judgement about urgency, but if we didn't have this knowledge the delay might either be important or cause worry.
