I visited the A&E department on 20/05/15 as I was 11 weeks pregnant and bleeding. The staff saw me straight away and didn't keep me waiting at all. They all treated me with respect and very calming towards me. A&E transfered me to section B I think for major - all the staff on there also treated me so so well. I was advised to go home as as far as they could see everything was ok and return following day for a scan at clinic 24. The scan was unfortunately telling us the baby had passed away. I cannot thank the staff who helped us that day and the days coming up to this and after enough. Also the daphne ward were so kind as well! To top it off when we were coming out we enquired where our baby would be. We spoke to a lkind gentle person who gave us information and spoke to us as we were parents, I will never forget the way they spoke to me as it made me feel so comforted! People might moan about hospitals but these guys are doing the best they can. I didn't need appointments every time and they have said we can go back as much as we like. I just want to say to all the staff who has been a part of this tramatic experience that we appreciate all your help and can't thank you enough!!!!! 5 * service and care!
"Amazing staff through a tough time"
