"A&e"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I attended A&e following a car accident ambulance took me through to waiting room this was a dirty environment with empty bottles and cans on the floor. There was no facilities to get refreshments. Toilets had no paper apart from littered on the floor. Staff was non existent and no communication to waiting patients. The Dr did not do thorough examination did not send for X-ray just told me I would probably bruise and sent me on my way. When I got home I was horrified at the extent of bruising which was not even looked at. I have since been sent to breast care centre and chest pain clinic following gp referrals from the accident which was not addressed at the original consultation.
