About: Heartlands Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

My appointment for an oesophageal manometry was whilst I was due to go on holiday. I telephoned to see if it was possible to change the date. Kathy Noble answered the phone, assured me it was and answered my many queries about the procedure.

When I arrived for the new appointment Kathy Noble was courteous and explained exactly what would happen. She calmed me and re-assured me. She talked me through the whole process. It wasn't that pleasant but made totally bearable by such very kind treatment. Many, many thanks Kathy Noble.

Dear Amron

Thank you so much for your kind comments regarding your recent experience at Heartlands Hospital in the Respiratory Medicine Department.

I'm so pleased that you found Kathy helpful when making enquiries regarding your appointment and also when you attended for your investigation.

I will ensure that your comments and thanks are passed along to Kathy Noble who is our Principle GI Physiologist and Service Manager.

Patient feedback is most important to us as it helps us to quickly identify parts of service that require support and enables us to make changes to improve the patient experience, also to highlight areas where our hard working staff are doing great work every day!

Many thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback and I wish you well in your continued recovery.

With Kind Regards

Marie Helebert
