"Shocked and wouldn't reccomend them if I was dying"

I came here expecting to be cared for due to having 2 seizures in 12 hours which is highly unusual for me so I went to get checked out. I didn't get the care I would expect from an nhs hospital. First of all, the hospital is severely understaffed, with only 2/3 nurses on a&e that didn't really seem to know what they we're doing. My partner kept on telling the nurses I needed to be seen and/or needed to lay down and rest otherwise I would have more seizures, and in the end I ended up having a total of 4 seizures including one in a&e which they seemed totally unprepared for. I was also pinned down so that they could insert a cannula in my arm which I found highly inappropriate as they had tried to put a cannula in 5 times before pinning me down (something that they didn't have to do as I sit for cannula insertions all the time and it became clear that the person putting the cannula in didn't really know how to do it as it took her 5 attempts) I do genuinely believe that If they had given me a bed to rest in like my partner had asked I wouldn't have had the 2 extra seizures. They also kicked me out of hospital with no discharge letter and I wasn't right when they kicked me out, they just needed the beds because they we're too busy. I wouldn't go back here if I was dying and I sure as hell wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. It's a confusing hospital with 3 a&e's and poorly signposted. Don't waste your time and look for somewhere else with better care!!
