"Fusion of left akle"

I had a badly damaged ankle from old sports injuries. After discussion with the consultant it was decided that it should be fused. This was a potentially hazardous procedure as the ankle was severely arthritic and chronically inflamed. It is now six weeks since the operation and my progress has been as good as could be expected so far. My experience has been a very positive one and I should like to congratulate all concerned.
