"Awful Dr"

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital

Having been admitted into hospital 5 times in the last 8 months for the same problem, I know the ward well. The nurses and HCAs are amazing, I cannot praise them enough! The doctors however are another matter. Drs kept telling me nothing was wrong yet every time I had the pains I went to my gp who sent me to a&e or straight to the ward to be admitted. Even though they told me I was fine, they happily gave me morphine and kept that topped up.. Which I cannot complain about as I was in severe pain but for someone who has nothing wrong? We're they right to prescribe it? One night I was up throwing up severely from pain, I was given anti sickness which it turned out I was allergic too so my cannula had to be taken out before my painkillers were administrated. I waited from 632pm until 1057am the next morning, having no painkillers as I could not stop being sick the nurses bless them kept bleeping the doctor who never turned up, the Dr who turned up had not long started their shift. I had no sleep and was in severe pain as well as becoming dehydrated. On the 3rd admission they decided to do a laproscopy to examine my as I kept being admitted for the same thing, even though I kepy getting told nothing was wrong. Turns out I had a large ovarian cyst which had ruptured and an ovarian torsion. So much for nothing being wrong. This was sorted, however 2 months later my dr again admitted me for pain, a very rude Dr came round to examine me and said, your fine, you only had a cyst last time. They then walked out from curtain and I heard them making rude comments about me to their co-worker. I am thinking of making an official complaint about this Dr as they are rude, and makes me feel uncomfortable. again, the nurses and HCAs on this ward are fantastic at their jobs. Lovely staff who I cannot fault!
