I am not referring to a specific visit in this review but to my general experience of having visited The Memorial over the years. I was searching the website for services at the Memorial for my daughter and was concerned at the number of negative reviews. Whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, we all know that complainers are more likely to leave reviews than those who are satisfied with a service. So I thought I would add a positive review! I have 3 children, aged 22, 19 & 10. All have used the Memorial's services over the years, particularly the walk in A&E unit. What am amazing service that is, no waiting at Medway for hours! When the children were small they have been given teddy bears to make the stress of a hospital visit less scary. My daughter broke her elbow ice skating, my son broke his foot playing football at school and my youngest son broke his wrist after he tripped on a pavement walking to school - what a calamity bunch they are!! We have always been treated with kindness, respect and efficiency, all the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. I also came to the hospital when I was pregnant with my youngest for antenatal appointments and parent craft classes, these visits were also very easy and stress free. In summary, in my opinion a great hospital with lovely staff - but in the nicest possible way, I hope I don't need to come in to see you anytime soon! Well done and thank you :o)
"Excellent Hospital, an asset to our town."
