"Suspected pulmonary Embolism"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

I had my local gp arrange a ambulance to the assessment ward after my xray came back with abnormalitys 3 hours after having it,i was waiting nearly 4 hours before i asked what was happening,to be told they didnt know i was a patient (yet i was on the board to be seen) also said they didnt know why i was there,so contradicted themselfs, still a further 3 hours passed before seeing someone and being admtted with a Pulmonary Embolism, this could have ended very different to what it as so far! I then had to ask for pain relief throughout my time there, often being told "i will see what i can do" only to be forgotten about,so i spent my time crying in pain with every breathe i took, extremely unhappy with all i went through, when i was discharged the discharge letter wasnt gone through by a doctor as i was told it would,it just got shoved in my medication bag,the catheter i had in for the CT scan was basically took out as i was heading out door!
