"Amazing Service"

We were on holiday at Center Parcs, when my 3 year old daughter had an accident and sliced the side of her ear wide open. We were directed to the children’s A&E department and seen immediately by the nurse. Within 10 minutes they confirmed that they would need to see and ENT consultant but in the meantime they gave my daughter medicine for the pain and possible infection. Shortly afterwards a doctor came to see us with the consultant and a nurse, who came in hand with a teddy that my daughter loved immediately (donated by the Freemasons - wonderful touch and really helped). They both talked and consoled my daughter and gently tried to bandage her ear. It was agreed that she would need surgery and to my amazement, they told us that they could see Maisie at 7am the next morning for the operation. Throughout the 2 hours we were there - all staff in A&E were amazing, kind and very professional. Thank you so much. Next morning we went to Ward 25 to be met by another great team of nurses and doctors. She was quickly prepared for theatre and taken down for the surgery where we met the Anaesetist’s and Consultant. Again the whole team were great and made sure that my daughter was ok and adapted their style, handling her with both great care and compassion. (even put a plaster on her new ted) which made her laugh. Within a few hours she was back from her operation and back to a normal 3 year old running around and they let us go home (back to Liverpool). Just want to say a huge Thank you to everyone involved in her care. It was professional, caring and very speedy whilst make both my daughter and us as her parents feel very comfortable at every stage. Fantastic service and great team. Thanks
