"Urology department ward D 46"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Over the past year my father has had to visit Sunderland Royal hospital on many occasions , he hasn't had to stay in though. Recently He has been diagnosed with bladder cancer and have to stay in hospital. He is 79 and although quite fit was feeling quite nervous and apprehensive. Staff were fantastic we arrived will Dad at 8.00 and from then everything went great. What I picked up from it is that the whole ward worked as a team!!! From the doctors to the cleaning staff all made my dad feel well looked after. He will almost cent singly need to return at some point soon after all results are found and my be the next part may not be so pleasant but at least we know he will be well looked after. Also although they seemed very busy they did seem happy which in my eyes means they are being well lead Thanks again happy daughter

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review of the services your father has experienced over recent years. We were delighted to hear he has been well looked after. All our staff work hard to ensure patients receive the very best of care and feedback such as yours proves that they are succeeding in that aim. We will ensure your comments are shared with the whole team. Thank you once again and please pass on our best wishes for your father's future treatment.
