About: Royal Orthopaedic Hospital

The hospital's administration systems must be among the worst I have ever encountered. Appointment waiting times seem to be wholly attributable to a general inefficiency which staff pass off as being "down to the systems" or "hospital protocol". I am at a loss to understand how it can take a month to write a letter. Anthony

Dear Anthony, hello and good morning Thank you for taking the time to tell us of your experiences. I am very sorry to learn that something so seemingly straightforward has been anything but and that we have been the cause of frustration. We are working on improving our administrative and support services and hope to have fully digital dictation in place by the end of this month which will reduce the time taken to produce clinic letters for both GPs and patients.
