"'Nothing wrong with you'"

I was admitted to the hospital at around 9pm after experiencing five seizures in one day. I was left in a corridor in a bed alone with just my partner where I had another seizure, when a nurse came over they seemed very angry that I had 'bothered' them. When moved to a cubical, I wasn't seen for a further hour and at this point I wasn't at all with it. I was mistaken for another patient and moved three days into various different cubical. When I was finally seen, I was told I would be moved to the royal London hospital and given an MRI scan, instead I was moved to the acute assessment unit and left there. I should also point out that I had a severe headache which was affecting my vision and when given pain relief I threw it back up, I wasn't given anymore for a further four hours and couldn't see properly. On the ward, they didn't offer me any and when they took me for scans, nobody informed me of what was happening and for some reason I was given a chest x-ray which was never explained as to why. When I finally saw a doctor, they said I would have a Lumbar Puncture done, they also witnessed me have another seizure but said it wasn't one and left me. When they came back to give a blood test they kept forgetting equipment. A group of doctors came to see me about 8am the following morning, the lead doctor was very condescending to me and kept demanding where I got my crutches from and what was gender and that they said there was nothing wrong me at all. My discharge form was given to me and it said pseudoseizures, I had to google this to find out and I was insulted at what I found. I have just received a phone call off them, they told me I have an infection but don't know where so need to go in. And they told me that I was fit to go home...I don't want to go back to this hospital but I have no choice in the matter.

Dear Zachary It is very upsetting to read of your experience during your time in our A&E and whilst as an inpatient. We are sorry that you were not fully informed throughout about the care and treatment you were receiving. From your comments here it is clear that there are a number of issues that need to be looked into in more detail.
