I think you're physiotherapy clinic system to get an appointment is absolutely ridiculous ,I was referred by a hospital to have treatment but after travelling 12 miles to you and getting there at 8.00 am to be told all appointments had already gone by a very unhelpful member of staff . On you're information page it says 8.30 to 12.30 maybe you should change that as it is very misleading . Just have to hope things will sort out on its own as will not be retuning there.

I am sorry to hear of your recent experience and it seems from your comments that you attended one of our physiotherapy drop in clinics, although you do not say at which site. Drop in clinics are just one option for patients wishing to make a physiotherapy appointment, and are very popular with our patients. Drop in clinics operate on a first come first seen basis and this can mean that they reach capacity very quickly, as obviously happened on the day you attended. If it is more convenient to book an appointment in advance, patients are welcome to do so and may collect a self referral form from any of our physiotherapy sites or download one from our website here http://www.peninsulacommunityhealth.co.uk/Downloads/Services/MSK20Physio/MSK20/Physiotherapy/20Patient20Assessment/20Questionnaire.pdf Please be advised that patients with back or neck pain will need to be referred by their GP. The department is actually open all morning as our staff see booked patients also. As a result of your comment we will be reviewing this information and updating it with more detail regarding drop in clinics.
