"Royal Gwent Hospital"

(as the patient),

D7 East ward. Admitted in later April 2015 for right hip operation. My sincere thanks to Mr. Lloyd, surgeon and his team, at least I did not need to advise him during the operation, after previewing the procedure on YouTube, in case he went wrong(lol). Waking up, the song by Cher ( if I could turn back time) came to mind, I thought I would not have it done again, pain, however, was short lived. On the ward itself, words are not enough. The whole nursing staff were fully professional, friendly, caring and nothing too much trouble for them. Doctors, physios, occupational therapy, domicilary staff all deserve my thanks. Meals were good, loved the curries!

Astonishly, free wifi was available, with iPad, beats using patienline hands down. Whoever decreed, deserves a gold medal.

I believe since my last inpatient experience, the CEO has changed and Judith Paget holds the post. A fully experienced medical professional. To be appreciated understanding the needs of the patients.

An extremely positive experience. Didn't want to leave on the 8th May!
