Had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy yesterday at the women's. I was petrified when I went in to the rosemary day ward. The staff were amazing made me feel at ease and the whole procedure went fine. Met some lovely people going through the same as myself and my heart goes out to all going through any fertility treatment. From the start to finish I was made to feel important and the staff are a credit to the women's. I've only dealt with the gynaecology and the Hewitt fertility centre so can't comment on the rest of the hospital but I'm sure the staff are a pleasure to deal with. Everywhere was clean and they take pride in what they do as their profession. Thanks. The only problem I originally had is that some of the booking in staff were rude over the phone especially when I tried to rearrange an appointment as my husband had an operation the same day and they said I'd have to be referred back from the doctor so I had no choice but to take the appointment and not be there for my husband but I'm not sure if this is a separate team as face to face everyone seemed genuine. But that was just one time.
