"Maternity waiting times"

I had an app with nurse at 1.40pm then a growth scan at 2pm (only one they could get me in). Arrived on time and went in the queue for both appointments knowing the scan app was running an hr behind (nothing new there been for 4 scans and each wait time was at least an hr wait with the 12 week scan being over 2 hrs). Waited nearly an hr to see the nurse because they were on their dinner. they then asked that have my bloods done and left the room to get another midwife. I waited half an hr in the room before going out to get someone to then be told "oh yeah sorry we've all been in a meeting". Luckily the wait in the scan was not long (although technically been in the queue for over an hour and half) . I was then asked to see a nurse again so went back to wait for nealry an hour. They then told me sorry for delay but the computers are not working. Why was I not told this when I first arrived. By the time i came out to make my next appointment as requested by the midwife the reception was closed. At the 12 week scan when you see the midwife after they actually asked us to complain because they were sick of the scan department over running which means they are over running without it being their fault.
