I contacted one of the dept's at milton keynes hospital to contact and request followup from one of the doctors who had transferred there since I last saw them 4 months ago I was unable to get anyone to answer the phone initially, then I gave my detail and first person seemed oki, they took my number and confirmed they would try and get the Dr to call me back Later i had a phone call from a person who did not say who they were or what they did and they started to interrogate me on the phone regards intimate details of my care, they seemed much more concerned on finding out what my personal life activity was than actually helping me resolve my problem, they were extremely unhelpful and monotone throughout and inappropriate in their questions, after call I realised I did not even know who they were! I tried to call back they refused to give me the name, I called again and was put on hold for 10 min, I hung up called again and was put on hold again, finally when they realised I was not going to just give up - and wanted to find out who called me in such a manner, I was put through to the person, who was disgraceful in their approach, they offered no resolution, or empathy for my extreme pain and I am putting in a separate complaint regards the doctor who did not follow up my care properly - obviously they knew when they were seeing me that they would be transferring to another clinic and didnt care We all get off days but to treat people like that, call them up not say who they are and just head into your private detail is disgusting - impressed not! Needless to say the Dr did not ring me at all
