"Long wait for a call back"

I was in lots of pain in my neck and spine one morning, with M. E symptoms. I decided I needed to see a doctor, so I called the NHS 111 service around 9am.

I asked for a doctor and was put through to the out of hours service at Frenchay, and was told I’d get a call back.

I didn’t receive a return call until two minutes to midnight! This really isn’t on. Fortunately in between I’d found my medication which solved the problem until the Monday morning when I could visit my GP.

Despite this, it’s not nice waiting around.
