"Ward 28, 1 - 3 May 2015"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

I have recently had a 2 night stay on Ward 28 following ankle surgery. I was surprised, but very happy, to find that there have been great improvements since my previous stay there in August 2012. The cleanliness and the nursing care were very good and in spite of it being a bank holiday weekend there were enough staff to respond to patients' needs in a very prompt and caring way. The menus were also much improved and the food arrived still hot and tasty. All the nurses were very kind and caring and I would like to give a heartfelt thank you to them all. Special thanks to one nurse on the ward and another in the plaster room who pulled out all the stops to enable me to go home as soon as possible. It is very likely that I will need further orthopaedic treatment and if this is the case I will not have any reservations about coming back to BRI,

Hello, first of please accept my sincere apologies that you did not get a response at the time. This was due to a technical problem which means some posts were not appearing in our feed. We only became aware of this recently and are working with NHS Choices to put this right.

We do value all the feedback we get and take it seriously, and I am very sorry you have had this delay in hearing from us.

I am pleased you found real improvements on this occasion, and of course patient feedback is an important aspect of this happening.

I am glad you had a good experience of care with us, which is what we want for all our patients.
