"A visit to Minor injury walk in"

About: Bridgwater Community Hospital

I had a deep cut which needed looking at. So after a 111 cal bridgwatwr community hospital minors unit was the best option.Tthe clinical staff were wcellent, caring and efficient. Unfortunately it was the receptionist who let the team Down with a lack interest and poor communication. Big thanks to the clinical team who stitched my knee back together

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience of Bridgwater MIU. The Patient Advice and Liaison Service, PALS, will share your comments with the MIU manager, Matron and the lead nurse in the department. I would like to assure you that your less than positive comment regarding the receptionist will also be noted, but unfortunately, without further detail of your visit, such as your name and date/time of visit, it would not be possible to identify who might have been working on reception and therefore your feedback would not be able to be shared directly with that person. However, I am sure that Matron will be keen to share your comments with all of the administration team during their next team meeting. If you would like to raise further experiences or comments regarding this MIU or any of our other services, then please contact the PALS team on 01278 432022 or email at pals@sompar.nhs.uk. With kind regards Karen Howard-Grenville
