"Disabled Parking"

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

It is time that the hospital checked who exactly is using the disabled parking bays. Although I have a disabled parking badge I find it extremely difficult to get a disabled parking place because most of the bays are taken up by the families of other badge holder, usually when the holder is not present. The hospital needs to crack down on this kind of use by checking who is actually in the vehicle when it parks, and fining those people who are defrauding the parking system. Every disabled parking badge has the photo of the badge holder on the back of it, so checking who should be in the vehicle at the time of parking is a very easy process.
