Visited A+E with mixed experiences, never been before but falling unconscious I had no choice in the matter!
The nurse I saw initially to tell me where I was going was abrupt, rude and wrote down wrong allergies!
I had a kind professional young Doc who explained everything that was happening and what blood tests I needed and why, put me at ease as I've never been to hospital before.
But then could hear through the curtains what I think was the nurse loudly (and a bit rudely in my opinion) asking the doc if I was being sent to a ward which I was not but the nurse was told to take my urine sample.
40 minutes later the nurse turned up to take my urine sample and tells me I am going to the ward?
Was then seen by the doc who cleared my blood tests and left me waiting for urine test results, eventually and thankfully I was sent home and the doc was surprised to hear I was told I was going to the ward by the nurse.
Can't fault the medical care but nursing care is shoddy, felt like a nuisance and a bed occupier than a real person.
