Nothing it was a relief to be discharged.

What could be improved

The lack of communication between patient and Dr's/Nursing staff, I was kept in the dark about the result of my operation, I read this information on the discharge letter. I asked for an explanation and was told by the nurse I needed to speak with the Surgeon who happened not to be on duty.

On the night following my Op I rang for a commode and was told to try and make my way to the toilet, which was outside of the ward, I was groggy, dizzy, weak and had two drains either side of my neck

I was unable to sleep at nights, elderly patients demanded alot of attention and staff for whatever reason took up to 20 mins to respond.

Food was disgusting....Meds always late and the ward was understaffed...three nurses turned up for work one day and this resulted in the early shift having to stay on.

To date I am no nearer to finding out what happened to me in the operating theatre...I have complications and need further treatment to correct this. I have lost all trust in St Peters and would not even if dying allow myself to be admitted.

Anything else?

Yes, I think the Access to Medical Files needs to be redressed,,low income families cannot afford to pay £50 for their files.
