Speaking to my doctor today I asked why my dermatology appointment sent to medway on 17th december 2014 had not been confirmed. Get this the surgery got in touch with medway and this is what they were told. A consultant looked at the doctors letter in january and decided without looking at my problem it was not important enough to make an appointment. First of all I thought a consultant had to assess what my troubles are by looking at the problem. I was told by another hospital professional that I needed to see a dermatologist post haste. Now why did they not write to me in january and tell me my appointment could take another 22 weeks or so to arrive. I was told this department was run poorly and appointments were erratic. Well now I know and so do you. I am not going to let this go and intend to take it further.
