communication, more in depth investigation rather than treat the obvious. not worry about upseting other health professionals by with holding suggestions of further treatment and referrals.

the policy and procedure on the treatment of DVT and PE's. Get rid of the VQ scan and update your CT scanning options.

i was admitted with dvt in december, it was a rush job, anticoagulate go home its christmas, to gp, no concern about complications, after 5 months illness i was admitted to a london hospitall and a full investigation found my heart chronically diseased and my lungs and legs full of clots. this should not have been missed, a simple CT scan would have helped.
