"Tired of being pushed away from Andover CMHT"

About: Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

my mental health has gone down hill for months, I've not washed or bathed either for along time. I'm always hitting my self, I tattoo my self as a form of self harm and I'm not that good at it. my mood is all over the place. I can be calm one minute the next im hyper and anoying, then I can go from that to beating my self up.

im putting presure on my dad by unleasing my stress and pain on him he is 66 now and has a lot of health problems. I feel im pushing him away and it hurts inside I have to live opposite where my brother was murdered.

I dont go out cause I cant look at the flat where my brother was killed my dad has to do every thing I have told my council about why I dont want to live where I live but cause Im on a starter tenacy so I cant move till june but im finding it so hard to cope now I just need some help

Response from Jane Tibble, Complaints and PALS Officer, Complaints and PALS, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust

Thank you for taking the time to post your valuable feedback. I am very sorry to hear that you feel that the staff at the CMHT are pushing you away and you are finding it harder to cope.

If you are currently being seen by a member of the CMHT, I would suggest that you speak to them about how you feel so that they can try to help. If you are not being seen by the CMHT but feel that you need to be, then please contact me at the CMHT so we can arrange to discuss what can be done to help you.

Kind regards Carole Adcock – Team Manager.

We are also sorry to hear about your experience and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you at your convenience, if you would like our help please contact us on 02380 874065 or by e-mail hp-tr.complaints@nhs.net.

Kind Regards

Jane Tibble

Complaints and PALS Officer
