"bad care at Arrowe Park Hospital"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

i had come into Arrowe Park A/.E with breathing difficulties i have asthma and i also had stomach pains. I was put in a room on my own with my two children a junior A.E doctor came in to examine myself while my children was their and was quite abusive and rude. The doctor knew i couldn't breathe and move the bed flat to exam my stomach and i was in a lot of pain and struggling to breathe. The doctor then took my blood gasses from my wrist to check that how much oxygen was in my blood. The doctor then asked me in front of my children had i taken an overdose considering i do have mental health difficulties and was not in A/E for that problem but my physical health because i do have physical difficulties. This doctor was not only rude and abusive but when they were trying to take my blood was aggressive pressing hard into my arm. Just because someone came in with physical difficulties i shouldn't have to be treated differently because i have mental health difficulties. I have been to the A/E department on numerous occasions with my asthma and other difficulties and have always been treated with no respect or dignity kindness or compassion or empathy by staff and on the wards and also in day surgery when i had to have a day case after the surgery the locum doctor said it was my gall bladder when i was in pain but i already had my gall bladder out in the 1990's they then said if i bled i again just to come back to a/e Also when i came out of surgery and woke up the nurse was taken out the needle i told them they were hurting me instead of being gentle they pressed the needle into my hand and hurt me even more. I also bled in theatre and found it wasn't my body and didn't have a haematology condition but a doctor who made a couple of holes when they were doing the procedure considering this doctor was a locum and i bled and they have to give me medicine to stop the bleeding. I have also been on wards where a nurse handing over my case from the night staff when they were loudly handing over talking about the patients lives handing over my case they joke and said mental health difficulties oh she's got flea bytes' not only did i complain to the ward manager this nurse didn't want me on the ward i was supposed to stay it because i had a chest infection i said to them about confidentiality and i wasn't in hospital to be the butt of their jokes. I was also on the same ward not long before this i was in for five days for a chest infection coughing up blood when the consultant for the ward said they were refeering me to the chest ward i still waiting to see the chest specialist after five days i discharged myself. I have never ever been show kindness care understanding compassion empathy at Arrowe Park Hospital either in A/E or on the wards i have been judged on is my mental health, i have problems and difficulties in both areas mental health and physical difficulties.
