"Telephone contact review"

About: Broomfield Hospital

For the past 9 months I have been receiving treatment at the London Chest Hospital but my case has now been transferred to a new department at Broomfield. Not knowing the department name, I telephoned the main switchboard and despite a ten minute wait (understandable given the volume of calls no doubt), I was put through to someone in CPAP services. Within two minutes my query had been answered in a very professional and polite manner. Excellent service. On a wider note, I do sometime feel we have expectations of the NHS that are a bit unreasonable especially with A&E.
