Finding out that you have skin cancer is a traumatic experience in itself but I have nothing but the highest praise for the care and attention that I have received from Yeovil District Hospital, particularly from the skin cancer nurse who managed to calm the worst of my fears with a compassionate approach. Having heard so many dreadful things about the NHS I was fully prepared for long waits, cancelled appointments and uncaring staff. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Thank you Yeovil Hospital.
