"Terrible Hospital Care!!"

About: Hillingdon Hospital

I have to say Hillingdon Hospital is terrible! The Receptionists are rude, wait times are exessive, Some of the Dr's are extremely unhelpful and also quite rude! I called one of there departments to be told i needed to attend A&E, i waited patiently to only be told sorry there's nothing we can do you need to see this department in the morning! I then asked to speak to a manager, who was rude and even more unhelpful! The person continued to make excuses and be defensive. To talked over me several times and honestly made my blood boil! I've never been so furious this a health professional! They were patronising, rude, unhelpful and arrogant! If you are able to aviod this hospital please do!

Response from Hillingdon Hospital

I am extremely sorry that you have had such a poor experience. From your post it is not clear which service you are referring to and we would therefore welcome an opportunity to speak with you in order to understand where to target the required improvement. Urgent care at Hillingdon Hospital is provided by two different organisations. The Urgent Care Centre (delivered by Greenbrook healthcare) sees the majority of ‘walk in‘ patients who present with either minor illness or minor injury. All ‘walk in’ patients are first seen by UCC staff. Patients who are less well and need specialist emergency care are seen and treated by Hillingdon Hospital accident and emergency staff. I would be grateful if you would take the time to call the hospital switchboard on 01895238282 and ask to speak to Claire Sheppard, assistant director of operations for Medicine and Emergency Care.
