I attended A&E at 9.30am on Monday 27th April with a foot injury sustained playing cricket. I was initially dealt with by the receptionist who was pleasant, polite and very efficient, took appropriate details and instructed me to "take a sea". I was seen within 10 minutes by a Nurse Practitioner who, again, was very polite and efficient, and recommended an X-ray, completed the appropriate form and sent me to the department. I as seen within 10 minutes by the efficient X-ray service and sent back to the original NP. I was again see relatively quickly with the X-ray result and was shown the details on screen. Thankfully nothing was broken and the NP gave me appropriate advice. The whole episode was concluded with 45 minutes and I was very impressed with the efficiency, dedication and thoroughness of the staff I encountered. Many thanks.
"Excellent treatment at A&E"
